I am a researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg, Germany. My studies began at the University of Bonn. After completion of my master's degree in Economics at the University of Kiel, I joined the IAB in Nuremberg in 2017. In addition to my research work at IAB, I am currently completing a PhD at Humboldt University Berlin.

My research has been published in the Journal of Development Economics, International Migration Review, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, BMJ Open and PLOS ONE. The focus is on different aspects of refugees' labor market integration, specifically the role of public policies, social networks, discrimination and health. In further works, I address selection processes of migrants both from an international perspective as well as refugees' secondary migration within Germany.
